Whole30 Apple Walnut Coleslaw

Salad
  1. 1/2 large head of green cabbage
  2. 3 medium Carrots
  3. 3 medium Asbrosia apples (any sweet apple will work)
  4. 0.50 cup chopped walnuts
Dressing
  1. 1/3 cup olive oil
  2. 1/2 cup organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  3. 2 tsp dill weed, dried
  4. 1 tsp dry mustard powder
  5. 1/2 tsp tumeric
  6. 1/2 tsp onion powder
  7. 1/4 tsp paprika
  8. 1/2 tsp Salt
  9. 1/2 tsp medium black pepper (or to taste)
SALAD
  1. Grate, or finely chop the cabbage
  2. Peel and grate the carrots
  3. Core the apples and grate (I prefer the peel on, but could be peeled)
  4. Coarsely chop walnuts
  5. Mix the grated cabbage, carrot, and apple together and toss with walnuts.
DRESSING
  1. In a jar, add together all the dressing ingredients.
  2. Blend with an immersion blender, or mix vigorously.
  3. Pour over the salad and mix well.
  4. Serve and enjoy. Yield 8-10
